Kuta Beach

Kuta Beach is a tourist place located districts of Kuta, the southern city of Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. This area is a tourist destination abroad and has become a mainstay tourist island of Bali since the early 1970s. Kuta Beach is often referred to as a sunset beach (sunset beach) as opposed to the Sanur beach. In addition, Field I Gusti Ngurah Rai is located not far from Kuta.


History


Before it became a tourist attraction, Kuta is a trading port where local products are traded to buyers from outside Bali. In the 19th century, Mads Lange, a Danish merchant, came to Bali and established a trading base in Kuta. He is well-known experts to negotiate so himself among the kings of Bali and the Netherlands. Further, Hugh Mahbett published a book entitled "Praise to Kuta" which contains an invitation to local people to set up tourist accommodation facilities. The goal is to anticipate the explosion of tourists visiting Bali. The book was later inspired many people to build tourist facilities such as lodging, restaurants and entertainment venues

Tourism 

Famous Kuta beach has good waves for surfing sports (surfing), especially for novice surfers. Besides the beauty of the beach, Kuta beach resort also offers various types of entertainment such as bars, restaurants, shops, restaurants, hotels and grocery stores, as well as street vendors along the beach to Legian beach.
